Christmas is so close, and in we can feel it in the air in Springfield. Here are a few Christmas events happening in and around Springfield, Missouri!
#1) Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops:
Now through Christmas Eve, you can visit Santa at Bass Pro Shop. Bass Pro Shop is the perfect place to bring the kiddos this Christmas! There will be free activities and photos with Santa. While supplies last, your kids will be able to write letters to Santa, craft a Christmas bag with a drawstring and more!

#2) Trail of Lights in Branson:
This event will be happening between now and December 30th. It is Branson’s oldest display of lights, and includes millions of Christmas lights. The cost is 25 dollars per car, and it opens at dark! Follow the link for more information about the event.
#3) An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City:
This event happens inside of Silver Dollar City nightly during the park’s holiday season (be sure to check dates before visiting the park.) Inside the park, there is over 6.5 million Christmas lights, a five story Christmas Tree, and a nightly parade!
* During An Old Time Christmas, Silver Dollar City is closed Mondays and Tuesdays (except December 18).

#4) Holiday Shopping/Santa Shopping at Battlefield Mall:
Every year, Santa comes to Battlefield Mall in Springfield, and the kids can take pictures with him there. Battlefield is also a great location for one-stop shopping this holiday season if you’re a last minute shopper.

#5) Christmas Pop-Up Market in at Farmer’s Park:
Shop for handcrafted gifts and foods this holiday season when Farmers Market of the Ozarks hosts a Christmas Market Pop Up Market on Friday, Dec 21! The event will take place between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the FMOpavilion at Farmers Park.
