Saint Patrick’s Day in Springfield

You haven’t experienced Saint Patrick’s Day until you’ve experienced it in Springfield.
This holiday, businesses and individuals are stepping up their game in order to provide
the citizens of Springfield with fun activities to take part in. There’s something fun for
everyone to enjoy this year. Here are a few fun ideas about how to spend your Saint
Patty’s Day!


Springfield Saint Patrick’s Day Parade:

For the thirty-eighth year in a row, Springfield will be hosting its Saint Patty’s Day
Parade. This year’s parade is being held on Saturday March 17 th . The parade will be
starting at Benton Avenue and Commercial Street at two in the afternoon. An Irish Pet
Contest will be held at 12:30 pm on the Jefferson Avenue footbridge. Vendors will open

Saint Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl:
The purchase of a $15 wristband will allow you entrance into fifteen bars in
Downtown Springfield. Booths will be set up at participating bars with pub crawl
souvenirs including t-shirts and coffee mugs. The event is on March 17, 2018 from
8:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Saint Patrick’s Day Party:
Coyote’s on Glenstone will be hosting a Saint Patrick’s Day Party this year. The party will
take place on St. Patrick’s Day, and it is free to attend! There will be games, food
specials, prizes, green beer, a photo booth and music from DJ Will. The party will start at
8 pm.

Conservatory of the Ozark’s Celtic Recital:
In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, students of the Conservatory of the Ozark’s will be
holding a music recital. The event will take place at the Library Center on South
Campbell. Students will gather to play Celtic music and songs of the British Isles. The
event will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday the 17th .
